What to get someone who has everything? We've compiled some creative ideas on the back of the Black Friday sales
It's that time of year again. As Black Friday madness takes hold this weekend, we've cut through the sales din and put together the ultimate shopping-savvy guide to today's bargains, many of which are sustainable, local and affordable.
We've also spotted some seriously good discounts on some typical favourites, including Lululemon leggings, Dyson hair products and some seriously good getaways.
But those looking to get a bargain ahead of the Christmas rush are also being urged to be on their guard. Revenue has warned shoppers about scammers targeting sales, advising consumers to double check the website URLs before spending money online. It says an '.ie' web address doesn't always mean the business is based here, and non-EU deliveries may be subject to extra charges.
New research from PWC has also predicted that spending will be slightly lower this year than in recent years across most categories as a result of the cost of living crisis.
However it also found that men are more likely to buy items for themselves (70%) with their most popular category being technology and electrics.
Conversely women are more interested in buying for their family (74%), with their top categories being fashion (42%) tech (40%) as well as Christmas gifts (39%).
