Anna Geary has thanked people for their “heartfelt” messages over the past few weeks after the Cork camogie star sadly lost her brother.
Geary’s brother Thomas was 34 when he passed away at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) earlier this month.
Taking to Instagram for the first time since the tragedy, the 36-year-old shared two pictures of her cuddling her baby boy, Ronan who was born in August.
“There has been a lot of this in recent weeks! His hugs have been getting me through,” she wrote alongside the images.
“Never underestimate the power of a hug.”
On Instagram stories, the Milford native took the time to thank those who had reached out over the past number of weeks.
“Thank you to each [and] every one of you that took the time to send such heartfelt and thoughtful messages during these past few weeks,” she said.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t reply back to everyone, but I want you to know that I did read them [and] I really do appreciate them.
“Life is unpredictable! No one ever knows what’s around the corner. For now, I’m trying to find my way on here. Bear with me.”
In March 2022, the TV personality lost her father Michael.
