Cork tech and marketing services company Granite Digital has grown rapidly in recent years and more deals are already in the pipeline despite a persistent volatile economic environment in many markets.
In the latest episode of The ieBusiness Podcast, in association with PwC, chief executive of Granite Digital Conor Buckley spoke to business journalist Cáit Caden about opening an office in New York this year and eyeing up opportunities in the UAE.
“We would see the growth accelerating, rather than slowing down,” said Mr Buckley.
Mr Buckley is conscious of ongoing challenges including a high interest rate environment that has led to some customers becoming tighter with spending, but he said that expanding into different countries will “diversify” Granite and help mitigate the risk of being exposed to vulnerabilities in other markets.
Mr Buckley said the goal for Granite is to grow to a mid-sized company that’s generating around €50m in turnover a year.
He also spoke about how some firms are coping creating an online presence as the push towards digitisation continues and how Granite Digital has been instrumental in implementing these changes for businesses across many different sectors.
