There was plenty of Christmas spirit over the weekend as people gathered across the country for light switch ons, merriment and good cheer.

Cork

In Cork, members of the public turned out amongst stilt walkers for the immersive light experience on Emmet Place called Solas. The festive Ferris wheel also opened over the weekend as Christmas in Cork, or Corkmas, was kicked off.
