The much-loved sci-fi show's 60th anniversary specials are about to begin.
Fans have had a long wait — it's two years since it was announced that Russell T Davies would be returning as showrunner, with the news that David Tennant and Catherine Tate would also be back as the Time Lord and Donna Noble following later.
They'll be appearing in three episodes showing on consecutive Saturday nights before Ncuti Gatwa takes control of the Tardis.
Tonight, we finally learn why Tennant's incarnation has returned, and how he gets around the fact he erased Donna's memory to save her life.
