Penneys, Dunnes and more: Here's where you can get matching Toy Show pyjamas
Penneys and Dunnes are among those offering matching Christmas pyjamas this festive season.
For many families across the country, the Late Late Toy Show is the official start of the festive season, so having the right attire for the evening is essential.
As is tradition, Penneys has launched its RTÉ Late Late Toy Show collection ahead of the most magical night on TV.
From adult pyjamas (€15) to slippers (€4.50) and baby sleepsuits (€9.50), there is a Toy Show-themed item for everyone in the audience so you can get the entire family decked out and ready to watch Patrick Kielty and co in action on Friday night.
The Late Late Toy Show adult snuddie (€27) is also back by popular demand and now, the range also includes a throw (€9) that is perfect for getting cosy on the couch.
Now in its ninth year, the Toy Show's partnership with Penneys will also see a donation of €120,000 to support children’s charities and causes across Ireland.
Last year, 1.2 million children and their families benefitted from donations to the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal, with almost €4 million in total distributed to children's charities and community groups.
Fintan Costello, Head of Penneys Ireland and Northern Ireland said the Late Late Toy Show is “a special night for families around Ireland” and marks the beginning of the Christmas season.
“We’re delighted to launch this year’s range, including the much-loved pyjama sets, which for many are now part of the tradition of the night," he said.
"This is the ninth year of our partnership with RTÉ and we’re proud to donate €120,000 to support Irish charities and causes this year, helping children and families nationwide."
Dunnes Stores has a range of affordable Christmas pyjamas starting from just €15 for adults, €10 for kids and €8 for little ones. You can even get your furry friend to join in on the action with matching Christmas tops and jumpers (from €6). Dunnes Stores is also encouraging families to snap a picture of them enjoying Friday night's Toy Show for the chance to be featured on their Instagram stories.
For Toy Show snuggles, Cork business BabyBoo has personalised family blankets. Available for €100 this blanket also makes for a great keepsake and comes in a Christmas-themed box that can be used to store it away once the holidays are over.
