Celebrating the best-of-the-best fashion for autumn and winter, the IE style fashion show gave a snappy, stylish overview of what to add to your wish lists for the season ahead.
Fifty-two looks from the high street, homegrown businesses and high-end retailers walked the catwalk in Cork’s city hall to an audience of over 300.
Luxurious fabrics, bright, bold colours and chic cover-ups were all featured. Red is the season's shade and comes topping off outerwear or decked out in dresses, as proven by the Roksanda dress from Samui that walked the runway.
Showcasing dramatic hues was Lennon Courtney as they made their debut with Kilkenny Design. Magenta and zesty orange were perfectly paired in a cosy knitted co-ord and coordinating coat that made a statement on the runway.
Sparkly separates were a key feature across the high street, with M&S and H&M representing the glitz.
For the party season ahead, you can go head-to-toe glitter with a sequin suit or temper a sequin maxi skirt with a crisp white shirt for an effortless evening ensemble.
Dresses are always a classic choice for event dressing, and Irish designers like Caroline Kilkenny and Cobbler’s Lane opted for sumptuous jewel tones to brighten the winter season.
Dunnes Stores showcased the blazer of the season in the form of a Barbie pink tailored style topped off with a feather cuff.
Cork boutique Oroli also represented statement outerwear with a patent cropped jacket styled up with a bow shirt and sleek trousers that were highly coveted among the crowd.
Kildare Village showcased classic checks in luxurious tones, complete with the best knee-high boots in every shade imaginable, from pumpkin to wine.
Brown Thomas opened the show with a stellar line-up of their designer offers, including a tweed two-piece from Alexander McQueen, effortlessly styled with knee-high boots but would look equally as chic with courts for the office.
