The drugs arrived in air cargo consignments from Canada and were destined for addresses in Dublin.

Approximately €3.7m of herbal cannabis was seized by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport last Thursday.

An estimated 185.84kg of herbal cannabis arrived in air cargo consignments concealed in boxes described as ‘work shoes’ and 'spray overalls’. They were seized with the assistance of detector dog Maggie.

The drugs arrived in air cargo consignments from Canada and were destined for addresses in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.

This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the importation of drugs.
