A soundbar with ARC (Audio Return Channel) and a separate bass speaker offers several key advantages over your standard TV speakers. I’ve been testing a new soundbar from Majority Audio called the Teton Plus, which features Bluetooth, 180 watts of power and a 5.25-inch subwoofer.

Although larger soundbars may perform better, placement can be challenging because they may not fit under your TV without blocking the picture because of their added size. Unfortunately, while the Teton Plus is relatively compact, it does sit rather high at 96mm, so it may not work for every TV. For my 65-inch LG TV, which has a poor stand and causes the TV to sit very low, it was too tall to be seated in front of. However, it may be mounted and comes with screws, wall plugs, and already attached hooks.
I love the buttons on the right side of the soundbar because they’re easy to see and use. The buttons are for power, input select, volume up and down and Bluetooth pairing. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX in jack on the side.
