National Treasure

The announcement of a generation came this week with the news that Brú na Boinne is to become Ireland’s sixth national park. 

A significant tourism boost for Meath’s Boyne Valley, it’s the first time in 25 years that the country has seen the designation of a new park, following the largely unheralded Wild Nephin in Mayo. 

Brú na Boinne will be Ireland’s smallest national park and, encompassing sites including Newgrange and Dowth, will aim to preserve the area’s rich archaeological heritage and will as its biodiverse natural wonders too.

Ariel House

If you’re seeking a neighbourhood base in the capital, consider the newly refurbished Ariel House in leafy Ballsbridge.
