Some of the autumn accommodation recommendations made by Tom Breathnach

Autumn sees some welcome relief from the peak hotel rates which soared to new heights this summer.

This week, I’ve looked around the country for some of the most inviting options for a seasonal staycation and have uncovered deals from €95 for a solo night away in a dream property to €105 for a couples’ break in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.

From castle escapes to country house retreats, here’s my pick of ten getaways to inspire an autumn getaway.
